Custom Lighting

Working with glass for over 10 years lighting has by far become my favorite to create. Personally it feels like the ultimate use of the material. Glass and light are best friends, you know the kind that make each other the best versions of themselves. I grew up in a house where handmade and antique objects were treasured and used. Lights are imperative to a home, appreciated on or off, and simply said they ‘set the vibe’.

When thinking about custom lighting theres a few aspects to consider, design, shape, color and fixture. Let’s create something special for your space.

DESIGN

Optic Encalmo Pendant

A classy twist with traditional appeal. The lightbulbs light will be fractured by the optic (thick and thin spots in the glass). These lights provide a burst of light onto the ceiling. These are what I have hanging above my kitchen table.

Wrapped Pendant

Subtle organic texture on the globe provides a timeless yet modern approach to lighting. I happened upon this design creating work for a beach home. Glass and water both amorphous solids, this design is a nice ode to both.

Opaque Encalmo

Sometimes we don’t want to see the lightbulb, maybe were just looking for a glow. This pendant is unique because of the transparent an accent of color illuminating the rim.

Transparent Globe

A color trio is my favorite with this design. This design is an awesome opportunity to pull in all sorts of color accents from around your room. I love matching warms with cools, pairing with stainless and wood.
